Go back to the Activities page	Beach Campout – Freeport, Texas Venturing Crew 2020 2006 The big event was a week-long experience on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico near Freeport, Texas. There was plenty of sun and surf, food, movies, kite flying and even a ham radio station. The weather was perfect and everyone had a whale of a time. The lifeguards for the Crew were “ocean” qualified and everyone played by the rules. There was Dutch oven cooking, campfires and just a week of relaxation.
