Venturing prepares young people to become responsible and
caring adults. This page contains
links to web-based resources to help young adults on their journey in the
operation of a safe and successful Unit.
The Polaris District
site will have current information for District activities. The Sam
Houston Area Council site will give access to common forms necessary for
travel, safety, health, risk management and Council-level activities such as
Scout Fair and the Popcorn sales and Venturing and Sea Scout
opportunities. Accessing the Boy Scouts of America National website
will ensure that a current version of a Unit-level documents are used and is
a great start for links to other National organizations relevant to
Venturing. Forms are available on
all these sites and are presented in a variety of electronic formats. If you need a complete listing of Venturing related forms
is on the National website. To
order Venturing uniforms you can go to the local Scout Shop or order online
at the Boy
Scouts of America On-line Store. Want to take training related to Venturing activities,
then contact Crew 911 for water and first
